C More and TV4 bring families together – new investments in content for children and youths

Following on from the success of “Ture Sventon och Bermudatriangelns hemlighet” (“Ture Sventon and the secret of the Bermuda Triangle”), C More and TV4 continue to invest in bringing families together with high-quality Swedish drama.
“We think this makes C More the most complete streaming service for the whole family,” says Josefine Tengblad, Head of Drama.
Among the new ventures are a youth drama directed by Molly Nutley and a sitcom about a robot family set in a school, written and directed by Fredde Granberg and Thomas Claesson.
“We are proud to be expanding our slate of high-quality productions for children and young people. The reaction of our viewers and users to Ture Sventon was overwhelming, and a confirmation that our effort to reach families, including viewers young and old, was the right move. We have recently made a number of major commissions and have a lot of projects in development, and we can already share details about some of them. We continue to look at a blend of original concepts and new takes on classic titles. We think this makes C More the most complete streaming service for the whole family,” says Josefine Tengblad, Head of Drama at C More and TV4.
Three projects, one of which is still in development, will be presented by Josefine Tengblad during the ongoing TV Drama Vision conference at the Göteborg Film Festival.
